FMNYC - What is your weak point as a designer? What does it do to highlight it?

MERITA MERJA - In the beginning I want to talk a little about my first passion and what I have most heart that is make up. I am very attached to make up, it has been and remains my first love in the world of beauty. I experience any change or trend in make up by becoming part of me and applying to the girls who frequent my salons in Albania and Dubai.

In terms of design, the passion and desire I have for beauty have made me dedicate myself to styling evening dresses and bridal dresses. I want everything to be in perfect detail so that even the evening dress or the bride's dress works out miraculously and so far it has worked out that way.

FMNYC - Did 2021 affect your creativity as a make up artist?

MERITA MERJA - The year we just spent has been difficult for everyone and around the world, but thank God and hard work, dedication we managed to stay strong.

FMNYC - What does the new normal world look like post pandemic?

MERITA MERJA - Just like new. As if we have to start everything from the beginning but I say that we will get used to it and we will go to normality very soon.

FMNYC - What do you expect from 2022?

MERITA MERJA - I look forward to the success I deserve, the work should always be appreciated and as such I say that I have worked and dedicated hard after my passions that have now turned into professions.

FMNYC - When you do not work, what do you fill your free time with?

MERITA MERJA - I am at work almost all the time because my work is so beautiful that it seems like fun when I work. Especially when I design the dresses and imagine how they will look dressed in the girls who will get married or celebrate in the evening, I marvel.

FMNYC - How would you describe your style as a designer?

MERITA MERJA - - I am original and special in my style. Royal dresses are my strong point.

FMNYC - What is something new that we need to know and that may surprise us?

MERITA MERJA - I plan to make my own show on Albanian TV screens with tips for make up and dress design. It will be a miracle the moment it will be realized.

FMNYC - What is your favorite part of the modeling industry?

MERITA MERJA - Final process, dress or presentation.

FMNYC - What is your dream project and why?

MERITA MERJA - endless projects, I am currently operating in Dubai, with all the assets, make up, hairdressing, dresses, photoshooting and I think that a fashion show with my creation would be a great achievement for 2022
