Cearense, Morgana Carlos, is the winner of Miss Brasil Terra and will compete in the final in Vietnam The big winner who snatched the Miss Brazil Earth 2023 title was Morgana Carlos from Ceará, early this Tuesday (2). She is 1.73 m tall, is a dental surgeon specializing in orthodontics and orofacial harmonization, and disputed the throne with 23 other candidates. In addition to the vacancy to defend the country in Miss Terra (or Miss Earth, in the original), Morgana received a prize of R$30,000. Born in Icó (CE), 375 km from Fortaleza, Morgana lives in the Ceará city of Quixadá (interior of the state), which is why she defended the Sertão Central strip (CE). The young woman's candidacy was possible due to the competition accepting representatives from the country's tourist and economic regions, in addition to the Federation Units. In 2016, Morgana competed in Miss Universe Brazil as a representative of Ceará. In second and third places were, respectively, Miss Paraná, Jennifer Jaworski, 21 (Miss Air), and Mato Grosso, Larissa Pissinatto, 24 (Miss Water). The Miss Federal District Bianca Becker, 23 (Miss Fogo), and Cerrado Goiano, Gabi Serafim, 20 (5th place).

Morgana heads to Nha Trang, Vietnam, in November to compete in the 23rd edition of the Worlds. The event's presenters, alongside Flávia Cavalcante, Leila Schuster, Carol Portella, Layh Barrionuevo and Vanessa Rivelli, shone on stage, as all of them are also misses of other editions. At the age of 22, Miss Terra carries the banner of sustainability and causes related to the environment. Hence the reason for the world crown to represent the four elements of nature, necessary for life on the planet: fire, water, earth and air. Morgana spoke exclusively to Fashion Magazine NYC about the beginning of her career in the Miss World and about this very special moment in her life: “I started modeling in 2016 when I was discovered by a missologist in college, he called me to run for Miss Municipal, from that day forward I fell even more in love with Miss World. It's not an easy task to reconcile my profession with a career at Mundo Miss, but when you really love what you do, everything falls into place, I'm very organized with my commitments, so I always manage to divide my month well between the two professions. My schedule is always predefined for the month that will start”. Said About the new moment Morgana spoke about her intention to live in São Paulo and about going to Vietnam: “I do intend to go and live in São Paulo, because I want to enjoy and live this moment intensely, besides in São Paulo I will be able to do a better preparation, because I really want to bring the title of Miss Earth to Brazil. I'm already feeling a good anxiety about going to Vietnam, to experience this unique moment in my life, being able to have the experience of being and living with another culture is incredible and enriching, and thinking about the fact of representing my country and possibly bringing the crown for us makes me excited.
