EXCLUSIVE INTERVIEW LARRYSSA VEIGA

FMN - What is your greatest weakness, as a model? What are you doing to improve on it? LARRYSSA - This a interesting question because I don’t think I have a weakness as a model , modeling motivated me to be better for myself every day. FMN - How do you balance your time studying marketing and modeling? LARRYSSA - I it’s hard to balance modeling in school because both them need so much dedication and focus sometimes I fall apart but I always force myself to never give up

FMN - What you do Before you start a workday and why LARRYSSA - I love this question because I’m a morning person. I love to wake up at 6am to do my meditation and connect with myself before I start my day. Usually after that I go to the gym run my daily errands and accomplish my goals for that day.

FMN - Did 2020 affect your creativity as a model? Yes at first it took some time to get use to. I was use to doing shoots and shows weekly, so going from that to not doing any jobs kind of messed with my head. But once I got use to it I started to find other ways to practice and work on my craft as a model.

FMN - Who inspires you in the industry and why? LARRYSSA - Rihanna is the one or inspires me. I love what she did with the fashion platform! She gave woman who aren’t typical models a chance to shine. For example, she allows her models to be comfortable with their skin whether they have a skin condition or if they are plus size models. She took over the fashion world with Fenty Beauty, she truly is my role mode

FMN - What is a “new normal world” post-pandemic? LARRYSSA - Honestly this pandemic humbled me and I’m sure it humbled a lot of other models in the world because it showed that anything can happen at anytime and we always have to be prepared for the worst and plan for the best.

FMN - What are you looking forward to in 2021? LARRYSSA - 2021 I plan on reaching all of the goals that I have. Stay tuned for new work, new jobs, and new agencies.

I’m Larryssa Veiga I am from Portugal, originally from Cabo Verde. I am model and I love to spend time with my family and loved ones. I love to work out and take care of my self and my body. My favorite things to do is read and travel when I’m not modeling, I do a lot of research and studying for my craft to keep busy when I’m not on a job. Modeling made me who I am and I am grateful for all the opportunities now and for the opportunities to come.
