Inspired by German fashion designer Philipp Plein, The Plein Hotel captures the spirit of its creator, not just in name. The SARAWONG Spring/Summer 2025 collection is inspired by the legendary tale "The Peach
Blossom Spring" by Tao Yuanming, one of the masterpieces of ancient Chinese utopian
literature. This collection explores the concept of an ideal paradise, reflecting on living in
harmony with nature and among humans, away from conflict and material aspirations.

"The Peach Blossom Spring" tells the story of a fisherman who discovers an idyllic world,
isolated from the turmoil of everyday life. In this tale, Tao Yuanming imagines a place where
peace and self-sufficiency reign, and where the beauty of peach orchards represents serenity
and harmony. Though this ideal world is a product of fantasy, it embodies a universal longing for
a simple and perfect life.

ara Wong, the brand's creative director, stated: “'The Peach Blossom Spring' is the ideal realm
that everyone seeks in their own life. I have always believed it represents a spirit of idealism and
romance. With the SS25 collection, I aim to nourish the soul through nature, extending the
vitality of the garments and opening the heart to spring, with determination towards discovering
a personal and ideal paradise.”

The collection features four main floral motifs, each with a unique and profound meaning. The
lotus flower, a symbol of purity and rebirth, is depicted in elegant prints and embroidery,
evoking a sense of serenity and transcendent beauty. The myrtle flower, associated with
peace and fertility, enhances the fabrics with delicate details and shades of light blue that reflect
harmony and vitality. The peach blossoms, symbolizing prosperity and good fortune, are
incorporated into intricate and vibrant patterns, celebrating abundance and joy. Finally, the
begonia, representing innocence and pure love, is celebrated through refined embroidery and
soft textures, adding a touch of sweetness and romance to the collection.
The fabrics used in the SARAWONG SS25 collection are carefully selected to reflect the
lightness and naturalness of the theme. Acetate satin, with its sophisticated sheen, gives an
elegant and fluid look to the silhouettes, while mulberry silk linen offers a unique combination
of softness and breathability, ideal for spring and summer. Silk, with its richness and
unparalleled texture, is used to create high-class garments that exude a sense of understated
and refined luxury.

The techniques employed are designed to enhance the quality and beauty of the materials.
Raised jacquard adds a unique dimension and complexity to the fabrics, creating a three-
dimensional effect that recalls the intricate details of flowers. The devoré technique, with its
ability to create transparency and plays of light, adds an element of sophistication and
modernity. Finally, structured pleating is used to impart movement and fluidity to the
silhouettes, evoking the grace and elegance of blooming peach orchards.
The color palette of the collection, inspired by peach blossoms, includes delicate tones of pale
pink, soft blue, and ivory white. These colors intertwine to create an atmosphere of freshness
and simplicity, perfectly in tune with the utopia described in the tale. The fluid and harmonious
silhouettes are designed to reflect the grace and simplicity of the ideal world described by Tao
Yuanming, while the floral motifs and refined embroidery celebrate the beauty and elegance of
this vision.
