An Actress, Theatre Artist, Singer/Performer, Classical & Western Dancer, Instrumentalist & Digital Content Creator. She finds fulfillment in environmental activism and Humanitarian work.

Samikssha was born in Dehradun, Uttarakhand – India nested in the mountain range of the Himalayas. At the age of 3, she embarked upon the journey with her Indian classical dance (Kathak) and Music in Rishikesh (Place of Yoga and Mediation capital of the world). She is a trained professional and pursuing her Phd. Degree in Classical Dance. Samikssha is trained in diverse western dance styles Jazz, Ballet, Hip-Hop, Aerial, Pole-Dancing and Contemporary.

Samikssha has also represented her School and College in Nationals High-Jump competition.

Prior to joining Film Industry Samikssha was Dance Teacher and later promoted to ‘Head of Performing Arts’ at an esteemed International School in Delhi, India.

Samikssha marked her Bollywood debut with Madhur Bhandarkar's “Calendar Girls” in Yr. 2015. Her biggest Bollywood break-through in the star-studded film “Poster Boys”, she played the leading lady opposite Bobby Deol in Shreyas Talpade”s directorial debut film. Film inspired by a real-life incident about three men’s, who found their pictures on a vasectomy poster for unknown reasons. Film was a theatrical release available on Netflix.

She also won the Best Actress Award in 12th Global Film Festival in India for the Film "Humne Gandhi Ko Marr Diya". Movie was inspired non-violence movements and ideologies of Mahatma Gandhi during his struggle for Independent India.

Prior to films, Samikssha was seen in various Hindi serials on esteemed TV Channels StarPlus and Zee TV in both supporting as well as lead roles. Her major stint in the show 'Veera' on StarPlus, she played a character of Charming Punjabi Girl. She was also featured in ‘Uttaran’ and ‘Baal-Veer’ TV shows.

Her theatre show “Rashomon Blues” at Prithvi Theatre won numerous accolades. The show was about the sword fighter and his wife assaulted by a notorious criminal. Play is based on Akira Kurosawa’s Japanese classic movie, Rashomon.

When it comes to film scripts, Samikssha lets her instincts guide her. It was precisely this instinct that drew her towards a thought-provoking script of the Film ‘Black Rose’, which explores the realm of Human instincts, hate, anger and acceptance. Everything about the movie felt so real and relatable and that’s what immediately struck a chord with me,” says the actor who has worn multiple hats, as a Chief Investigating Officer ‘Tara’ and Psycho Girl in the film. She performed her own Martial Arts and Biking stunts in this movie which is streaming on MX Player and all major OTT platforms.

No doubt, over these years she has worn multiple feathers to her caps and she did this with much fervor and she was adored for her versatility. Indeed, she is an actor par excellence and had already proved her prowess as an actor. Needless to mention, Samiksha is counted as one of the most loved actresses of the Indian Film and Television fraternity and considered very resilient and straight-forward by her fanbase and peers.

Gifted with brain and beauty she has made a huge name for herself and also a colossal fanbase. Apart from all the talent she has been blessed with a flawless voice since the age of 3 and has impressed her fans with her vocal strength. She won the heart’s of her entire crew and audience as

she performed live instrument during the act with complete dedication and focus which came as a surprise to director and crew member for upcoming Web-Series ‘Chhalava’ on Hungama Play. Chhalava is a collection of 5 special stories featuring people going beyond the limits of their morality to get what they deserve.

Her performance in latest Music Single and cover songs has wowed the audiences and created a huge spur on social media. ‘Tishnagi’ her first music single released on YouTube and Spotify and her 2nd Music Video ‘Tujko Chuppa ke’ on Zee Music, Spotify and leading channels.

Samikssha recently turned producer with her latest short-film BHRAAMAK, which is streaming on MX-Player and Hungama Play. It's a psychological thriller. It has garnered huge anticipation amongst the audience. Samikssha has already made a mark as an actress and she is known for her inimitable comic timing and performing her own stunts. She is pushing the boundaries with this one as she donning multiple hats of actor and producer. Entered into Pshyco Thriller/horror genre story revolves around a girl who’s husband died during pandemic but she was unable to accept and feels somebody lives with her in the house.

Being a fitness enthusiast Samikssha is very passionate about fitness and is following the right exercise regimen, eating good and healthy food, following a healthy lifestyle, and having a positive attitude towards the body. She practices Muay Thai Kickboxing, Mixed Martial Arts (MMA), Brazilian Capoeira, Japanese Katana Sword Training and other combat trainings not only for self-defence but also to perform her own stunts. She believes Martial arts provides number of excellent health benefits, in addition to instilling discipline and confidence.

She is an avid runner, cyclist and swimmer and has participated in half marathons also looking to participate in triathlons. She is powerhouse of fitness. She does explosive strength and weight training, gymnastics, calisthenics and functional training. Mediation and Yoga has been part of her lifestyle since child-hood.

Samiksha Bhatnagar celebrates her Diwali At ‘Home For The Aged’. Diwali is all about giving, sharing, and spreading happiness! Every year during this festival, she follows a tradition of donating something to the under-privileged. Recently she has been supporting the ‘Save Soil -Save Environment’! movement.

Samikssha will be seen in a couple of interesting projects and web-series in Yr. 2022. She is associated with some projects at various stages but prefers to maintain confidentiality at this point. Creativity is always above everything. So, she looks forward to being a part of many interesting tales. Nevertheless, she is a real multi-tasker and extremely focused. When it comes to work, she is a devoted perfectionist for her passion, attention to details, honesty, sincerity, and work ethic. Samikssha is extremely thankful that she has been exposed to such excellence at such a young age, and that she has had the opportunity to work with a variety of people who encourage her in gaining knowledge daily.
