Paloma Wojahn is only 24 years old from Rio Grande do Sul, who six years ago left the city of Novo Machado in Rio Grande do Sul and went to achieve her dream around the world. The model had an exclusive and super relaxed chat with us talking about her career, future plans and her experiences in the fashion world. Check out our interview with Paloma Wojahn :

FMNYC - What is it like to venture into a new country?

PW - It's always a challenge, we arrive without knowing anything and come back full of experiences. I consider it a very rewarding job and with several opportunities too, I've enjoyed what I've been living a lot.

FMNYC - What are the differences between Mexican and Brazilian fashion?

PW - The market in Mexico is very commercial, more focused on photos, catalogs, commercials, while in Brazil it is more mixed between fashion (shows) and commercial.

FMNYC - Is there a stylist you dream of working with?

PW - Definitely working with YSL, my favorite brand.

FMNYC - What is the most memorable memory you have of your career?

PW - I couldn't name just one, but I believe that the travels and opportunities to see amazing places through my work is something remarkable, and seeing the works published and in magazines is very rewarding.

FMNYC - Do you have a model that inspires you?

PW - Without a doubt Gisele Bundchen and Candice Swanepoel inspired me.

FMNYC - What was the biggest job you've done?

PW - Tough question, (laughs) I've worked with various brands and magazines both in the country and abroad. Among them Cosmopolitan AR, Bazaar BR, Donna ZH, Calvin Klein, PatBo, Avon MX..

FMNYC - What does fashion mean to you?

PW - Diversity, culture and knowledge. I consider fashion a way of expressing yourself, a world full of opportunities and challenges too.
