Giovanna Domingues, a girl from Rio de Janeiro full of dreams, in love with the fashion world and at the same time wants to pursue a medical career. How to reconcile two such antagonistic projects? FMNYC - Giovanna tell us how it feels to pose for the first cover of a magazine and still being an international?

GIOV. - It's a mixture of really good feelings, joy and fulfillment, because it's something I like to do and having the opportunity to pose for the first time on the cover of the magazine is amazing, I'm so grateful.

FMNYC - How are you dealing with the anxiety of having to wait for the pandemic to end so you can board a flight to the US and star on an American catwalk?

GIOV. - It's a bit complicated to deal with anxiety in any area of ​​life, but I'm preparing myself to give my best. Still, I feel hopeful, which also helps to deal with all the nervousness.

FMNYC - You're 15 years old today, how is the relationship with your parents ?

GIOV. - We have a good and strong relationship, based on the trust they have in me, I talk a lot about everything with them, but because I'm an only child, jealousy sometimes prevails.

FMNYC - About career you want to take the entrance exam for medicine, how will the decision time be? Do you think you will be able to reconcile a career in modeling with the university?

GIOV. - I haven't thought about it yet, going to medical school and being able to help people is also part of my plans, I hope I can reconcile, giving priority to what is most urgent, making my dreams come true.

FMNYC - When you decided you wanted to be a Model, what was your reference and inspiration?

GIOV. - Since I was younger, when I started to see and research about fashion, I was very interested, and the ways that fashion can express itself in different ways. After doing my first photo shoot, I realized it was the profession I wanted to pursue. I'm inspired by Gisele Bundchen, for her story, determination and humility, which motivate me.

FMNYC - The fad is shifting to include people who were once considered out of the ordinary for beauty. What do you think of this?

GIOV. - I think it's very necessary. Fashion is also a way of expressing yourself, and everyone should have the opportunity to find themselves in it.

FMNYC - You believe in God ? What can you share with our readers about it?

GIOV. - Yes. God is love and the basis of everything, nothing happens without his permission, so we must be grateful at all times.

FMNYC - What are your plans for after the pandemic?

GIOV. - Complete my studies, and improve and develop my modeling career, as it was started during the pandemic, which made the whole process difficult.

Giovanna contou um pouco de seus anseios, falou sobre o drama de controlar a ansiedade, de ter que esperar a maioridade chegar para realizar tantos vôos, a pandemia acabar para cruzar oceanos e sobre a hora de tomar a decisão certa, entre a passarela e o bisturi!! FMNYC - Giovanna conta pra gente como é a sensação de posar para primeira capa de revista e ainda sendo uma internacional?

GIOV. - É uma mistura de sensações muito boas, de alegria e realização, porque é algo que eu gosto de fazer e ter tido a oportunidade de posar pela primeira vez para capa da revista é incrível, eu sou muito grata.

FMNYC - Como você está lidando com a ansiedade de ter que esperar acabar a pandemia pra você poder embarcar em um voo para os EUA e poder estrelar em uma passarela americana? GIOV. - É um pouco complicado lidar com a ansiedade em qualquer área da vida, mas vou me preparando da melhor forma para dar o meu melhor. Ainda assim, me sinto esperançosa, o que também ajuda a lidar com todo o nervosismo.

FMNYC - Você está com 15 anos hoje como é a relação com seus pais, rola uma Marcação serrada ? GIOV - Temos uma relação boa e forte, baseada na confiança que eles têm em mim, converso muito sobre tudo com eles, mas por ser filha única o ciúme prevalece as vezes.

FMNYC - Sobre carreira você quer prestar vestibular para medicina como vai ser a hora da decisão ? Você acha que vai conseguir conciliar a carreira de modelo com a universidade ? GIOV. - Ainda não pensei sobre isso, fazer a faculdade de medicina e poder ajudar as pessoas também faz parte dos meus planos, espero que consiga conciliar, dando prioridade ao que for de mais urgência, tornando meus sonhos em realidade.

FMNYC - Quando você decidiu que quería ser Modelo, qual foi sua referência e inspiração ? GIOV - Desde mais nova, quando comecei a ver e pesquisar sobre moda, eu me interessei muito, e as formas que a moda pode se expressar de diferentes maneiras. Depois de fazer meu primeiro ensaio de fotos, eu percebi que era a profissão que eu queria exercer. Me inspiro na Gisele Bundchen, pela sua história, determinação e humildade, que me motivam.

FMNYC - A moda está mudando no sentido de incluir pessoas que antigamente eram consideradas fora do padrão de beleza. O que acha disto?

GIOV. - Eu acho muito necessário. A moda também é uma forma de se expressar, e todas as pessoas devem ter a oportunidade de se encontrarem nela.

FMNYC - Você acredita em Deus ? O que você pode compartilhar com nossas leitoras sobre ele ? GIOV. - Sim. Deus é amor e a base de tudo, nada acontece sem a permissão dele, por isso devemos ser gratos em todos os momentos.

FMNYC - Quais são seus planos para depois da pandemia ? GIOV. - Concluir meus estudos, e aperfeiçoar e desenvolver minha carreira de modelo, já que ela foi iniciada durante a pandemia, o que dificultou todo o processo.
