Model Spotlight Gabriella Nepomuceno

Gabriella Nepomuceno is a model from Espirito Santo, Brasil. She sat down with Fashion Magazine NYC to talk goals, travel, and what keeps her motivated.

I am from Natural de Aracruz - Espírito Santo, Brasil and was raised in the suburbs, where I thought I would only model for community shows. I began receiving invitations for regional events and began modeling from a young age thanks to my sister, Ingrid Nepomuceno, and my parents who have always been by my side motivating me. I have always loved doing make-up, different hairstyles, and would constantly practice my walk in front of the mirror!

Photography is also a big passion of mine. I am always photographing which has allowed me to get to know my community and the people in it. Once I began dedicating myself more and more with each day and making my mark in the industry, I also began growing my passion for the world of fashion. I participated in contents which allowed me to gain so much experience and helped me grow, lose my timidness (which was a lot!), and learn how to be competitive. These incredible experiences were priceless and will stay with me forever. Once I began competing, I was getting exposure in the fashion industry and began receiving invites for other jobs and competitions. In these events, I acquired the following titles:

These titles are fruits of my hard work and dedication, each one has its own meaning to me as we never forget the things that help us grow.

Eventually, I briefly paused my competitions and decided to travel around the world and study English, which is necessary in every aspect. Today, I reside in Florida, USA to study, but have been returning to the world of modeling and walking in shows. I recently participated in NYFW19 and video shoots in New York to build my portfolio, which was an indescribable experience!
