Model of the week. (NYFW) Lera Levinski.

At New York fashion week, it was impossible not to notice the American Top-model Lera Levinski

She seemed to flash from one show to another. She managed to work with 14 designers, have 10 photoshoots for magazines and two presentations for the world's first Eco-friendly lingerie brand - the Lady Hunter Lingerie where she is the ambassador.

- Lera, tell me how do you manage to keep up with everything?

- Fashion week season is a very busy period for every model and you need to be prepared for it. It’s good that it happens only twice a year (laughing). Of course, there is not enough time for proper sleep and nutrition between shows, but that's fine. I have a great producer who manages my schedule.

- Tell me please, what designer made the biggest impression on you this season?

- I really enjoyed working with Alexandra Popescu-York, her evening dresses are gorgeous - they don't leave anyone indifferent. I also received proposals for cooperation with a Japanese lingerie brand and an European denim designer. I can’t be more specific at this time. And of course, as always, the work for Lady Hunter Lingerie inspires me. This brand is unique, it makes elegant lingerie from natural fabrics! Every single collection is one level higher than the previous one and I'm happy to be its brand ambassador!

- The fashion week is over, what are your plans for the near future?

- My agent has launched a new project @global_profashion, recently. It's about selecting young designers and models for

participation in Los Angeles fashion week. I am one of the judges for this selection and my task will be to choose models who will take part and become well known.

- That’s a big responsibility! What criteria will you use in selecting models?

- First of all, I will look at the type, it is very important that the model matches the brand with which she will work, the success of the designer and sale largely depends on this. I believe that the designer’s talent is to create a really beautiful and comfortable garment and model’s to competently demonstrate it. After all, who needs a dress that is only comfortable when standing still. This year we also decided to pay attention to the material from which the collection will be made. We will give priority to natural fabrics that don't harm the environment.
