FMN. Where do you draw inspiration from for your collections?

RG- It’s spontaneous. Everything and anything that i am drawn to could be my blueprint to creating my latest collection.


FMN. 2020 was unexpected to say the least. How did you and your team pivot to adapt to the new normal?

RG- you just have to work your way around it. In my case all are custom made so adhering to protocols are amenable


FMN. What are you hoping to accomplish in 2021 for your brand?

RG- To begin a new line of custom clothes which are accessible to my countrymen.


FMN. Do you think COVID-19 and the past year had any permanent effects in the fashion industry? If so, what would you say those are?

RG- of course. That sustainability is of outmost importance.


FMN. What role do you think social media plays in the fashion industry?

RG- it was only magazines, models and celebrities. Now, social media platforms are the endorsers of brands - of all sorts.


FMN. How do you find a balance between staying on trend and standing out?

RG- I don’t really think of it. I just create, design and follow my intuition.


FMN. What advice would you give to young designers?

RG- just keep on designing and creating.
