FASHION MAGAZINE NYC caught up with Marcus Pacha , the Artist behind the makeup team "PACHA MAKEUP TEAM" learn the story behind the creations and origins.
I’m Marcus Pacha, a celebrity makeup artist from Brazil where I got a degree in fashion design . I graduated from fashion school in 2010 in Brazil and after 3 years working in the world of fashion I fell in love with the world of colors and transformations that is makeup. I worked in the beauty industry for 3 years in Brazil before moving to the US in 2016. When I first got here I went to live in Philadelphia, PA. There I built my first makeup studio in which I worked for 2 years before moving to New York. Here in NYC I started working with a big group of makeup artists in fashion shows, photo shoots and independent films. I did 12 seasons of NYFW including Bridal Fashion week and Men’s Fashion Week. In 2019 I was the makeup artist responsible for the special effects makeup for 5 short movies. Now I have my own team, Pacha Makeup Team with 40 professionals from the beauty industry, from makeup artists to hairstylists. In 2020 my team had the pleasure of getting to know and to start working with the celebrity designer.
