New York City will be covered with blankets of snow all weekend. I made a few mini journeys today, one early to the deli around the corner for coffee and then later on to the supermarket around the corner and across the riverbank of the street for my kitty's dinner. I know rationally that other places in the world have real snowfall situations but I've decided anyways that I perfer to take it pretty easy. I actually enjoy the snow perfectly from indoors.
I never really thought much of rainboots until I saw the recent collaboration of Melissa Plastic Dreams shoes and Vivienne Westwood. These are the cutest rainboots I've ever seen. I absolutely love love love them!

I have to agree, those are the cutest rainboots EVER! The aesthetic is slightly vintage - they remind me of something that socialites would have worn under petticoats during the gilded age. Fabulous find, my love!! :)
